Thought for Thought

Man will undermine God’s Holy Word.
While rejecting God: he basically hordes.
Man is credited for knowing the Universe.
He neglects its Creator, yet ends up cursed.
Scientists conclude we are material blobs.
The writing on the wall could end their jobs.
They contradict laws of nature absolutely.
Denying God’s sacrifice for sinners resolutely.
When Skeptics doubt their very existence.
Question who is speaking in your presence.
They live by man’s philosophical words.
Conjuring up questions to deny the Lord.
Does the truth really exist in this life?
When death ultimately ends all strife.
When arguments cease, and death awaits;
Then Man’s purpose will be exposed too late.
Mankind needs saving from hell’s fiery lake.
Will we realize Christ’s life was not a mistake?
Faith rests in cold facts—nothing contradictory.
Learn God’s history, not from evolutions theory.

Natures Callings

I awaken from darkness like the early morning star,
Ready to shine like Jesus to those near and far.
As the thick clouds hurl rain on fertile grounds,
I rehearse God’s promises to those all around.
Nature’s Redwood trees resists the fierce winds,
Spiritual men withstand evil days in wicked lands.
Springtime flowers give aromas to new beginnings,
Even so, college couples relish into new pinning’s.
As oceans host its innumerable fishes of the Seas,
Christ’s disciples instill knowledge like honey-bees.
When rushing rivers run deep into big blue bays,
My soul yearns for comfort in the Lord’s Holy Place.
As the animals of the earth find their morning meals,
My soul finds daily food in the Bible like hungry seals.
As birds secure their nest in lofty trees and mountains,
My soul longs for Christ’s forever flowing fountains.
As Nature discloses its beautiful majestic scenes,
How beautiful the feet who preach Christ unseen.

The Greater Light

We gaze at darkened skies with dim-lit-lights.
And see Sun and Moon beaming so bright.
But none compares to God’s Amazing Son–
The Light of the World born in human flesh.
He’s God’s Morning Star we must confess.
Rather than relish in sin, He passed the test.
He bore our shame—we should have felt,
Beaten and bruised by a flesh ripping belt.
They buried his body—now risen from Earth.
Now we can experience our second birth.
He promised the Spirit given from Heaven.
His kingdom will rise like dough with leaven.
He invites everyone in: no matter their status.
We enter this Kingdom without works, but gratis.
Will you know His love that’s beyond degree?
He’s our only hope, our joy, and perfect plea.
No Greater Light exists that out shines His Life.

Sexual Issues

Would you be pleased, if you contracted a sexual disease?
Does your guilty conscience of sin leave you empty within?
Were your lovers betrayed, leaving them bitter and dismayed?
Are you worried about her pregnancy, fearing a child’s infancy?
What’s to say about your infidelity, leading to incompatibility?
Your mate might be resentful, leaving you somewhat fretful.
Your choice for an abortion, leads to despiteful destruction.
Your willingness to ignore propriety, results in a deviant society.
You’re tangled in guilt, but God knows how you are built.
Sin is fun for a season, but sex it’s meant for a divine reason.
Intercourse fits holy matrimony, with a sobering ceremony.
You can live without fears, and stop the misery and tears.
Someone loves you dearly, through every calendar yearly.
Jesus purifies minds throughout time, who knew no crime.
He who renews the soul makes men and women whole.
Ask for the Holy Spirit freely, and experience life joyfully!
Sex feels pleasurable, but marriage makes it honorable.

Cloudy Love

Puffy clouds may never stay,
Nor its rain that falls by day.
I relish your words of love,
But they fly away like doves.
Clouds may pass tomorrow,
Yet I wallow in my sorrow.
If only clouds would thunder.
I would never more wonder.
When clouds clash over me,
If your lips utter, I love thee.
Yet the days go by in years.
My pillow floods with tears.
As night ends with the shadows,
I long for sunshiny meadows.
Plucking dandelions—is love for me?
Hoping God honors this simple plea.
Remember me, as clouds roll away.
Your love always brightens my day.

What you Need

People vie for your body, soul, and spirit.
Unsparing wolves hide in sheep’s clothing,
Lurking in places, that is least expecting.
He strips our youth’s precious purity.
He stumps maturity with heavy anxiety.
We need success and victories to win.
Not as men living in messy pig pens.
Maybe your clean and full of charm.
Or too cool and calm to be alarmed.
Have you stopped to think about Hell?
Perhaps you are hung-up on certain sins.
Perhaps you’re a whoremonger or liar
No need to panic, Jesus kicked the bier.
He is alive today to satisfy the soul,
You can avoid Hell’s enlarged fiery hole.
Just accept his blood binding treatise.
Or sin will rob your peaceful felicities.
Fear only Him who cast folks into hell.
No one can thwart His perfect will.
Joy awaits all sinners truly repentant.
The Lord confiscates that selfish tenant.
Will you be free from Satan’s’ heavy load?
Renew your mind by His Word of Old?

A Spectacle View

An innocent, but no ordinary man, was crucified by Rome.
At Calvary, His blood dripped down in infamy to save some.
No angel nor disciple nor His Father attempted to save him.
He volunteered to be pulverized as a slain lamb.
His executioners crushed His marred head with thorny crown.
Pilate desired His release, but Jewish blasphemers resisted.
The soldiers ripped into his fleshly torn back like black slaves.
They spit on him and buffeted his face without due respect.
They mercilessly nailed his hands and feet and pierced His side.
As he hung upon a tall tree, he began to suffocate and cry:
My God My God why have you deserted me?
His demise took hours of midair hanging on that rugged beam.
Blood trickled down his face and back, like slaughtered meat.
Even His death was foretold by the ancient prophets of old.
He fulfilled all scriptures, saying the Bible was written of me.
But He knew all along how and why His life would expire.
No greater love, nor greater sacrifice, man has never known.
But unless you drink of His blood and eat of His flesh:
You have no life in you. For His flesh is like heavenly manna,
His blood is like fresh wine; the Master calls, come and dine.

The Plowman

The plowman plows his Master’s seeds, deep
Into lives desperate in need.
He plows whether home or abroad,
Over vast fields that are ready to harvest.
He plants holy seeds that will soon
Reach to celestial skies. He’s aware of tares
Among men who infiltrate like spies:
Like wild weeds among the crop.
But, someday the Sowers and Reapers shall
Suddenly cease. Yet the Plowman plows
To receive a royal reward—
When his faith shall be found,
Like a pruned branch bearing much fruit.
His laboring shall be sweet
At his Master’s feet. Plow on then servant,
In wet and sunny seasons, destined for eternal reasons.

A Man’s Challenge

Everybody wants to be number one; we all try to get ahead.
Jesus knows how: just humble yourself and follow him instead.

We fight over things that won’t amount to a hill of beans.
But be assured God will take care of us, by all means!

The truth is, we have not because we ask not.
We end up between the haves and the have not.

Sports competition seems like it’s the order of the day.
And we wind up wondering, what’s an Athletes Pay?

God is ultimately and truly Lord over everyone.
He doesn’t want to ruin all our recreational fun.

Nevertheless, we’re all like Adam, we want to have our way.
But when you sin against the Law, you will face Judgment day.

We step on others so that we can become top dog.
Put others first, and tell them truths in a daily dialogue.

When we want to act greedily, lustfully, selfishly and want to have it all?
Seek first the Kingdom and his righteousness to honor the Lord’s call.

Do you need a new attitude to soar to a higher altitude?
Surrender to Jesus and be transformed into his similitude.

A Creation Moment

Who is man?
Doctors can not form a Man or Woman
Neither can Astrologers illuminate the stars?
Do engineers create earthly matter?
Can preachers look into the soul?
Can cooks make vegetables grow?
Do fishermen design their fish?
Can a black man change his skin color?
Who created the laws before they’re discovered?
Certain environments’ have peculiar bodies
The fish and the otter swim in the water
Animals on land make fossils in annals
But Man at his best, has failed God’s test.
He honors a god, yet denies the only true God
Since sinners disobey; they lie in graves
Be not dismayed sin’s debt been paid
The Son of Man arranged His wonderful plan
Faith through his grace grants a heavenly place
His hope is reliable by obeying the Bible
Don’t be fooled by skipping school.
Your basic Theology is learning Christology
Start your education by knowing Salvation
Hell is surreal, but Christ’s love is real
