What’s God Doing!

Is God killing your joy leaving you distressed?

Are you full of regrets, or feel overly stressed?

Perhaps you’re high or mighty, without integrity.

Has your pride and arrogancy left you in misery?

Is there something missing –a sense of longing?

Do you lack peace, or has love gone wrong?

From Adam’s Fall, sin has passed upon all.

We war and fight, and fear puts us in flight.

Test the Spirit’s love, like a hand in glove.

Trust the Lord, who loved this Ole World.

His nail pierced hands were sacrificed for man.

To reach Heaven, you must to be fully forgiven.

Humble yourself, and let Him be your wealth.

End the rat rutted race— instead accept God’s grace.

It’s Jesus who died and now glorified.  Come to Him

By faith, don’t hesitate, and choose His eternal fate!

Liberty is Christ, ending the World’s-spinning-strife.

Will you be compliant, and cease being defiant?

Admit your sins committed, and you’ll be acquitted.

God’s sweetest grace puts a smile on each face.

You’re blessed if you do, for He’s risen for you!

Seasoned Soul

Love is the seasoning
Over my sobering soul.
It’s the gravy over
steamy buttered biscuits.

Love is an eternal gift
like cold Winter Christmas’
My existence is destined
for His divine purposes.

I am a leafy tree
among marshy meadows,
I’m preserved
as fresh water bellows.

Darkness and evils
May constantly arise.
Jesus remains my hero
against every satanic surprise.

Love will triumphant always
over all Evil powers!
For love is more powerful
As blood is spilt His way.

Love overshadows
both grief and neglect.
It will embrace you
from failure, in the final verdict.

Glory to Glory

The glory of Jesus shall surely unfold

As Jesus’ resurrection is being told.

I too shall arise to streets of gold,

Free from Satan’s tightest hold.

My sins had left me terribly ill,

But Jesus paid the sinner’s bill.

Jesus has promised all things new,

Making plenty mansions just for you.

Glory to glory tells His sweet story,

Although Israel was punished with fury,

A remnant partook of His salvation freely;

I also long to see His smile with glee,

And sing Him songs who died for me.

Until fullness of day, I’ll watch and pray,

Till my eyes see the Light of His Day.

Hoping you too will love His demeanor,

Believing good news to always remember.

He Makes A Baby Smile

I smiled with glee at one glimpse of His Word,

Like a soaring Eagle scouting for prey.

His delights my heart with grace, I smile back,

As a baby reflects the grin of his Daddy’s face.

He comforts me like a baby wrapped in bulgy blankets.

I know my feeble life will never expire, because

He rescued me from a Volcano’s liquid blazing fire.

But when this mangled body shall sleep in dust,

He will raise a glorious body like His Son on High—

As a caterpillar morphs into a dancing butterfly.

Why wait till the stars fall down?  Come and

Rejoice ye peoples, let’s make the anthems ring!

For the King Eternal will come to Mount Zion,

And fill the Earth with wisdom like mountains.

Therefore, I will wait on the Lord, for His Mercy

Endures forever—O praise His most marvelous name!

Smiling Faces

Smile shows you’re friendly, like smelling fragrances’ of potpourri.
Smiling is easier than frowning, regardless whether clowning.
Children recognize happy smiles, so let it remain a while.
Give a smile as a pick-me-up, not a shameful stick up.
Smiling is important to the soul, for the fearful and the bold.
It will give you a different outlook, like reading a funny book.
Smile, for God smiles at you; He heals to comfort your blues.
You smile when you’re sexy, but much less when you’re feisty,
Smile to change your character, unlike a furious reactor.
Smiles create warm atmospheres, makes mothers cry in tears.
Smiles make you less mean, as darkness waits for sunny beams.
Lend a smile and receive one back, this helps with love you lack.
Smile to show you’re thankful, and refuse to be revengeful.
Smile to brighten your face, and live by God’s Holy Grace.
Smile because God created all things, even for the wedding rings.
Keep smiling for the Lord loves a cheerful giver, not a selfish liver.
Stress is reduced when we smile, to eliminate cortisol for awhile.
Don’t hang around an angry man; they don’t smile like a close friend.
Smiling people should never abuse, as Hitler did among the Jews.
So put on a smile, and let your face shine a different style.
